aka BillyWhizz.

Billy’s passion for motorsport is undeniable, and his commitment and drive to succeed in Formula racing is evident in the way he pursues his dream.

From debuting at the highest level of British karting in 2009 to taking 1st at the prestigious Pau Grand Prix in the European Formula 3 in 2019 – Billy overcame huge personal challenges to keep himself in the driving seat.

The road to the top is never easy, and Billy's career epitomises the challenges and risks race-car drivers face each and every day – “after making contact with an unsighted stationary car at over 120mph during a British F4 race, Billy was left with life-changing injuries and received amputations to both legs”.

Despite a double amputation, 21-year-old Billy's contagious personality and motivation for success shine through stronger than ever. This year Billy Monger experienced "the most incredible 4 days of his life", completing a 140-mile triathlon spread across walking, cycling and kayaking; all in aid of raising money for Comic Relief.

Working tirelessly with his trainer to prepare himself for this incredible challenge, Billy showed his mental and physical resilience to selflessly raise money for those who need it most - refusing to let his past define his future.

"Never say never, for me that's what it all about." - Billy Monger.
